The restaurant as well as the whole IBB was designed by the Munster architect Richard Piersche. He was inspired by the ideas of Constructivism school from the beginning of the 20th century. He chose the painting “Building of the House” by the legendary Byelorussian painter Kazimir Malevich as the starting point of his concept.
The expressive minimalism of the interior reflects the main idea of Constructivism as the combination of simplicity, harmony and integrity. Simple clear shapes, the high ceiling, large square windows combined with small round windows give wonderful light; there is a lot of space, decorations and furniture are of white, blue and chrome colors. The restaurant resembles a ship drifting in the ocean of time.
We do our best to make the guests feel comfortable on board. You can always find a table that suits your mood and the occasion! The spacious light dining room which is an ideal place for a meal and a conversation during the daytime turns into the splendid dancing hall at night, perfect for relaxation and romantic encounters.
